Hi cootiebug:
Foxwoods and Foxwoods MGM both have the machine installed. The Foxwoods MGM install happened about a week or so ago. New machines are being added all the time, so watch for my list updates.
Good to hear you like the game!

Hi Steven1:
Thanks for reporting this issue. We'll see if someone from WMS can confirm whether they have heard of this issue.
Thanks.

On my first time playing this machine at the Aliante Station Casino in Las Vegas I won $316 on an 80 cent bet playing the Gandalf's Fireworks bonus. This was after playing the machine for a little while.
I just discovered earning miles online last night and shared it with another customer there who was happy to hear it.
They only have 2 machines, but it's not usually a long wait.
I just earned the Isildur's Sword bonus online and I look forward to checking it out on my next visit.
Hi DeQuosaek:
Very nice hit! I don't suppose you have a picture of your win, do you? We love those around here (almost as much as video).
Thanks for spreading the word about the site! Hope we see lots of posts from you!

I don't have a picture, but I'll make sure and take a picture next time I hit something good. Maybe it'll be on my first Isildur's Sword bonus.
I can however, take a picture of the map screen where it shows the total times each bonus has been played and the best win on each bonus. That's one feature of this game that I really like.
The funny thing about that feature is that I thought it was a global tally of players that had won bonuses, so I felt like a pioneer when I hit my first Arwen's Rescue bonus. Then I realized those were just my totals.
Hi DeQuosaek:
Call me "Old School", but one of the funnest aspects of playing video games in the arcade was making the "high score" table. It was a challenge, and a sense of accomplishment when you made it.
Even in the old 8-bit and 16-bit computer days, high score tables were common in games. Now? A score isn't even that common in a lot of video games!
This reminds me of a personal high score table. It's keeping track of your best win, and the number of bonuses. As an "old school" gamer, that is right up my alley!

Just got back from Vegas. Played this game at Excalibur, Aria, MGM, and Paris. We played for a while, went back to the room and got on the computer to unlock the next level. Went back the next day and go more. Tonight I unlocked the sword. I will be hitting up a local casino to play again and see how it is. Overall, this is now our favorite game. Liked that the more you bet per line, the more bonuses you got (i.e. if you bet 2 per line, you got 2 Frodo wild spins) However, if you choose to only spin one of the bonuses, for some reason it resets your bet to 1 per line, and if you are not careful, you can short yourself on future bonuses and payouts because you are not betting what you were previously. On a slightly different topic, we played this game at several casinos. In general, I did well at Excalibur & Paris. Not so much at MGM, and frankly, played and LOST quite a bit on all the machines at Aria. They did not have this game at the M resort, but liked this resort and pays. In general, it 'felt like' Harrah's casinos were paying better than MGM. The Boyd casinos (Orleans, Gold Coast) were tight tight tight...even talked to regulars there that said this was there last time as they couldn't get anything out of the machines...and we agreed!
Hi regisbla:
A nice summary of your LOTR play!
re: We played for a while, went back to the room and got on the computer to unlock the next level.
=> Smart! This will be my plan too.
re: Overall, this is now our favorite game. Liked that the more you bet per line, the more bonuses you got (i.e. if you bet 2 per line, you got 2 Frodo wild spins)
=> This is quite an innovation. Hoping WMS will use this in future releases!
re: However, if you choose to only spin one of the bonuses, for some reason it resets your bet to 1 per line
=> The game is designed so that the POWER SPIN is just like a "cash spin". If you lower to 1X, you have changed your bet. If you repeat, it repeats the last bet (eg. 1x). I could understand how it would be easy to forget.
They did not have this game at the M resort.
=> LOTR is scheduled to be at M resort any time now.
=> Thanks for the great summary. Keep us up-to-date on your progress. If you can snap a picture or two, that would be great as well.
=> Any issues getting a machine?

I played this last weekend at treasure island in MN. I think it is a lot of fun even though I didn't win anything on it. Hopefully I will have better luck next time.
Hi daryljjacobs:
Glad you liked it. Plenty of people judge a slot based on how much money they win or lose on their first play! It's good to hear you are going to give it another chance!
