Did well today. I reached Step 14 on Galadriel's Stairway within 30 minutes of being at the casino. A 40 cent bet netted $256.

Wow! Nice to hear someone can beat the stairway. The last three times I played it I received zero light vials. Therefore got minimum number of spins; minimum number of wilds. Total win for three bonuses = less than $10.

hi. I'm fairly new to this posting thing, but like car1950 my hobby is casino hopping; i live in Sacramento CA, and there are great casinos here; anyway, could someone explain how the trophies work in LOTR? i can't work it out. thanks!

Trophies come in three's for each bonus, each trophy is received when the total amount won an that certain bonus is 20x 30x of 40x bet. However, by having these nice wins, the trophies only serve to be braggers rights as to how many have been "captured" versus the total. Some trophies are for just showing up on designated holiday and gambling on the LOTR.

The trophies are pretty much just "eye candy" for bragging rights. However, if you're just starting out playing LOTR, you can earn up to 75 FREE miles here.. go to the Home page. The miles earned by playing free games online incrementally unlock bonuses when you play LOTR at the casino and earn you trophies. Good luck to you.

You can view other people's trophies, by clicking on "VIEW PROFILE". There is additional information on trophies in the HELP tab.

Also, if you place your mouse over the missing trophies, it will tell you what you need to accomplish to have one awarded.

Thanks, guys for that update on the trophys! I finally made it to Balrog bonus, so i will go to my local Casino this weekend to see if I can try that one. Love this mix of classic slot play and continuing story line. Hope we get the new Two Towers soon. Just had to rent the LOTR movies to refresh myself with the 'real story'; now i know where each of those pix (mini game for Balrog)fit into the movie.

It's funny because I just love this game - Lord of the Rings. My boyfriend (BF) does not like to gamble, but he will drop me off at the casino for a few hours so I can play. My favorite story is when my BF decided to play a few games - and he hit the bonus. He jumped because he was not prepared for the loud speaker sounds - it scared him. To each his own I guess. I just reached mile 164 - so I'm interested to see how these miles will work with the LOTR Tower game.

No I think it should be more interactive online earn more miles playing on line and maybe trigger more when playing. If you take the time to go online you should get extra credit at least. I don't get to play enough at the casino because they have only a few slots and you have to wait forever to play.....

It's a good thing I discovered early on you could play online to unlock the first four bonuses. However, it was disappointing to find out you cannot progress past mile 75 by playing online. I think you should allow player to pick up some miles (for example, up to 50% of the miles) for bonuses beyond mile 75. As it is, it's hard to know what triggers a mile bonus. Of course, it would cut into casino profits if players were allowed to earn up to 50% of the miles online after the Balrog bonus. So I doubt it would be implemented at all.
