I do not find the LOTR Two Towers tight at all. In fact of all the penny slots I play I have received the greatest reward from LOTR.

Thanks for the information. I am aware of the in's and out's of payout mechanics, both in LV and AC. Our experiences are completely different, both apparently substantiated by the records we keep.

Is Return of the King still an active project, or has the game been abandoned since LOTR and TT seem to be falling out of favor?

As of a couple of months ago, the next installment of LOTR was still an active project, as far as I know. Should be something at G2E in October.

Is there a "Kirk" (I think that was his name) who still visits here? My memory is fuzzy but I think he was one of the designers and would come here to report on the progress of LOTR from time to time.

Yes. KirkKirk is one of the design team members. Our moderator, Shamus (TheShamusofSlots), might be able to obtain more information about the next LOTR game.

Hey, everyone!

Yes, there is a KirkKirk and he is still around. He's just been neck-deep in Orcs and hasn't had a chance to post anything recently. Glad to hear there are players who are just now getting into LOTR/TTT, and also glad to hear there are players who are still racking up big totals of miles on the game. After all this time, I still think my favorite bonus in the game is The Dead Marshes, where you drag a trail through the marsh to create a trail of credits. I know it's not everyone's favorite but I love that you can get the award at the top of the trail to get really high if you're willing to risk it. What are favorites for others?

A brief update: Return of the King is going well. It is a beautiful game with a lot of cool new features and bonuses to unlock. It's big. BTW, for those of you who have tons of miles already, you will have bonuses already unlocked as soon as you log in the very first time.

Thanks for everyone's comments and questions. Can't wait to start posting pics and details about ROTK in the coming months!

That is great news. Can't wait till it comes out! I actually like the Dead Marshes too, but only because its a guaranteed win if you just pick one square per row, LOL. I did get some good hits by picking 2 squares per row, but also got 2 reds on the first row for a zero bonus (doh!).

One request if you could consider this - if you get to the very end, instead of just a trophy, could you provide something extra? At least, let it trigger a bonus round, a Power Spin or something. Maybe your choice of any bonus round at max bet, regardless of current bet? Wishful thinking, but hey, its a long journey so why not a nice reward?

LOTR is the game that pulled me away from the tables and is still tops in my book. I really wish they hadn't taken it down at the places I go to.
