Just played LOTR Two Towers a few hours ago at Turtle Creek in Traverse City Michigan. Having played the first one last night I quickly became interested in progressing the miles and unlocking more bonuses. Got on this site last night and found out about the new slot. My experience with the new slot so far has not been good (Tight Indian Casinos >:-[) I played $40 and didn't hit a single bonus. I did however hit a few of the random bonuses and they are pretty cool and I earned a few power spins that amounted to nothing. Cool slot and I'm sure I'll play it again, but I might end up sticking with the old machine as it has been kind to me thus far and they are both equal driving distance from my home.

Hi thrice543:

I have my doubts that the new machine is set to a lower payback percentage than the original ... but that is just my instincts ... I have no way of really knowing ...

Hey, everyone!

Finally, I've gotten a chance to post about The Two Towers. We've been busy with a few other games around here (Star Trek Battlestations is coming out soon, by the way), and I just haven't had the time to get on the site and post anything since the game has started rolling out.

Here's a little rundown of the four new bonuses:

Dead Marshes - This one is a new take on a picking game. You pick a path through a grid, and you can make it as long as you want. The longer your path, the higher the jackpot if you make it to the end. After you choose your path, the path reveals credits or 'stoppers.' If you hit two "stoppers" on the same horizontal row, your path stops and your bonus ends. This is a great bonus for those of you who like the "more risk, more reward" dynamic, but you can also guarantee a win if you want. You can really get some pretty big wins on this bonus if you're willing to take some risk. I love this bonus.

Gollum/Smeagol - This is a free spin bonus where you choose Gollum or Smeagol at the beginning. Whichever you choose, that symbol will be wild during the free spins. Then, there is a jackpot you can win if your spins total more than the jackpot amount.

The Last March of the Ents - This is like a "pinball" bonus. The Ents were the tree creatures in the movie, and they throw boulders around that take out orcs and towers and huts and other stuff to award credits like bumpers on a pinball machine. The big awards come when you break the dam or knock Saruman from the top of the tower.

Helm's Deep - This free spin bonus features a 125X multiplier, similar to Gandalf's Fireworks. The final spin of the bonus ALWAYS features 5X WILD symbols on reels 1, 3 and 5, and they multiply each other. So, if you get a 5 of a kind with all those WILDs in it, the win will be multiplied by 125. The WILDs start as regular WILD symbols, then as the Uruk-hai scale the walls at Helm's Deep after each spin, the WILDs become 2X, then 3X and then 5X. If you're lucky, your archers may appear and knock the Uruk-hai back to the bottom, awarding you more spins. There is also a pick at the end that can re-trigger the entire bonus.

Both free spin bonuses can also award Power Spins as part of your bonus win.

Hope everyone enjoys these new bonuses (and all your favorites from the first game are still included) and yes, there will be new mini-games so you can unlock bonuses playing the games here on Player's Life. Coming Soon!

Wow, thanks for that info, really helps to know how things work before I have to choose one; I am really looking forward to finding one of the new Two Towers game machines in a casino near me. If anyone finds one in Northern California, please let us know!!
