Kansas City, Harrahs and Ameristar both shut down Two Towers Jan 8th. However Golden Eagle Casino, which does not show having them , still have three in use and are still logging miles . So I'll have to drive up to Holton to play those

Went to Horton to play Two Towers Friday night, now at mile 600, I went to Bonus and took what I call the Twins(Smiegal and Gollum) and on a 40 cent bet Hit $67.00 thats a 150% pay-off. Then it dawned on me, No Trophy and the miles are getting harder to acheive, because I have all trophies available at the time, and dont forsee the return or the King coming so, I thought, maybe if there is someone who likes to collect the trophy's and earn more miles to open their Bonuses, let me know and I will play under your ID and password for you . Now, I have only the love of the game to play for since I have acheived all to be acheived in ths game. I also have discovered a secret in the Bonuses.

First time playing you get addicted, I notice after I got Gadriels Stairway and the other bonuses or miles online, I did not get any bonuses at the casino or power rings. $200.00 later and not one power spin or bonus. I have tried more than one machine also. the game has disappointed me now. I feel like the game is making me pay for the miles I got online before I can get anything. Also, How much money do I have to spend to get a mile? I get more bonuses or power spins when I don't sign in( most of the time they are not that great. One time I had 30 power spins and I did not get one winning hand!

It's pretty awesome that you have 600 miles and still like playing the game! We have officially heard that RETURN OF THE KINGS is in development. Perhaps we will see it by the end of the year. We have not heard a time table.

Do you think you will give the 3 reeler "Lord of the Rings" a play? You can't earn miles, but the theme might be appealing

The miles do not cost anything -- and they are completely independent of the bet size. They are awarded randomly -- so, just like a wins ... you can get miles back-to-back, or go hours without a mile awarded.

The bonus frequency is also independent of the bet size. Of course, your bonus is still multiplied by your line bet.

Sorry to hear about your 30 power spins ... that was really unlucky!! You must have some good wins to tell us about too!!! This game can give you a really fun ride!

I can actually understand why Lord of The rings is being pulled. At our local Harrahs they are always empty now. No one was playing them even on a Friday night at 9:00 in a packed casino. Course if other people have the same luck on them that I have then I can understand why. I played them a lot when they first came out, but got real tired of them. I just could very seldom seem to trigger a bonus on them. And all the power spins I got never won a thing when I played them. No matter if I played them on the next spin or held on to them.

I'm sure TWO TOWERS does not pay out less than any other slot of a similar denomination. However, it is a game that has been out almost a year now. That's a significant amount of time in slot years.

The good news ... A new Lord of the Rings is being designed right now!! Perhaps we might even see a preview at the next G2E in October!

In the meantime ... "Super Team" and "Clue" will be getting lotsa play from me!

Yup! I'm looking forward to the arrival of Clue too. I'm not tired of LOTR TT, but I've been needing 3 more trophies to finish this thing for about 4 months. I guess it's not going to happen so I'm ready to move on. I will say that "The Great and Powerful OZ" can be fun. It can also be a dud, just like LOTR and LOTR TT can be.

I also am looking forward to Clue and Super Team...LOTR has lost its "mojo" for me, altho I would try the next version. So far, my go to casion still has four machines. Also the new Star Trek community, which are almost always empty. Also the community Pirate Battle bank has seats unoccupied...which means that these two new WMS have not met expectations. Ruby slippers is ALWAYS full...it must supply a player expectation. In my go too, new WMS machine releases are played, but not near the full capacity of older wms math models and other slot name brands.

I have a question for those of you with a mathmatical perspective. Does your success with the bonuses, affect future bonus payouts? To wit, I generally play multiples of the basic play amount, .80 or 1.20, so when I recdeive a bonus, I'll play the Marshes (guaranteed 20x to 25x). When I play power spins, I will seek the trophies I've not attained. Is that a reasonable strategy?
