Did Parx in Pa get rid of the Lord of Rings?

They had 4 LOTR: The Two Towers machines just outside Chickie & Pete's as of my visit last week. When did you notice they were gone?

They were there New Years Eve, but on Saturday(yesterday) they were going! Looked every were and did not find them...

According to Caesar's website, looks like it's not in Harrah's St. Louis anymore. What gives ? ? ?

It was around christmas that Harrah's St. Louis pulled the two towers out, but Ameristar, Lumiere Place and River City casinos are the ones that have them in the area.

I can actually understand why Lord of The rings is being pulled. At our local Harrahs they are always empty now. No one was playing them even on a Friday night at 9:00 in a packed casino. Course if other people have the same luck on them that I have then I can understand why. I played them a lot when they first came out, but got real tired of them. I just could very seldom seem to trigger a bonus on them. And all the power spins I got never won a thing when I played them. No matter if I played them on the next spin or held on to them.

The 2 LOTR Two Towers at Golden Nugget in Atlantic City have been moved again.

Now in the hallway heading to the buffet and offline to signing in for your miles.

I'm sure TWO TOWERS does not pay out less than any other slot of a similar denomination. However, it is a game that has been out almost a year now. That's a significant amount of time in slot years.

The good news ... A new Lord of the Rings is being designed right now!! Perhaps we might even see a preview at the next G2E in October!

In the meantime ... "Super Team" and "Clue" will be getting lotsa play from me!

What is the status of the Return of the King?? Now, WMS is designing a new version. But its not earning miles nor trophies.

Can someone please including Shamus( the moderator) to shed some light on the table??

P.S By the way Shamus, when is the "CLUE" slot machine coming out?? Will this game be a community event like the Price is Right. Also, it is progressive and/or minor jackpot level??

AC update, the two towers is gone from Harrah, Caesars, and Bally.

That's sad. The 5c version at Harrah's Resort was a bit costly, but I still saw people playing.

Thanks for the information. As they say, "Nothing last forever" The Harrah's machine was too costly. Even though last October 2011(day before Halloween), I was lucky to get a power spin bonus ring and choose Isildur Sword. Guess what? I was able to find 6 swords and got 3000 credits (3000 x .5= 150.00 dollars on my bonus win) I won't be surprise if the other A.C casinos will remove the two towers soon..

Kansas City, Harrahs and Ameristar both shut down Two Towers Jan 8th. However Golden Eagle Casino, which does not show having them , still have three in use and are still logging miles . So I'll have to drive up to Holton to play those
