I could be completley wrong but I remember having one of my firework bonus be huge! I had three of the wild cards and I think I remember it saying 75X. Am I imaginging this? It was in Vegas last october at the IP.

Nope! highest multiplier you can get is 125x(5x5x5) if all 3 wilds show up.

I noticed that the "Repeat bet" button doesn't work on any of the 4 LOTR machines at Sycuan Casino in San Diego. In fact, it looks like people have tried pressing them so hard they've actually broken. Is this common?

I really love the game and the surround in the seats. It's very interactive and engaging, unlike most slot machines. I'm amazed that you can actually log into a slot machine!

Anyway, I don't play it enough to know the best strategies or bonuses to play to any tips are welcomed.

Yes, I think the buttons are designed that way! No, I think they are just used the most. They always break. I have a feeling it's because of the angry slot player. They totally ruin the experience for me. I had one guy punching the screen everytime he spun. This other guy was yelling "someone better call security bc I am going to beat the **** out of this machine". Yet, they continue to put 20 after 20 in the machines. I wish the casino had better security for people like that.

If the casino ever sends me free play I always max bet to see if I can build up my bank to play for the rest of the day. Might play this weekend. We will see

Last week we went to the Mazatzal Casino in Payson, AZ. The TWO TOWERS was there as well. The same couple occupied 2 of the 3 machines darn near the whole time I was there. I didn't get a chance to see how the others played. In 25 minutes, I only got 2 miles and 6-7 power spins.

To answer my own question, it's the "Fell Beast" and is another random bonus. I still don't know if it replaced Gollum, or if he's still lurking around on the wheels somewhere.

The Fell Beast appears in the middle of the screen, and flaps its wings. The wing flaps turn from 2 to 15 positions wild. I got it twice. One very good payout, and one measly one. :/

It will likely be a while before I get to play again. With the Holidays coming, and my wife's coming retirement, the casinos are not high on the priority list. :/

I see it a lot, and across a lot of machines. When I see one of these, I'll report it to the techs, but I'll use the "credits per line" buttons to run the machine. If that one is broken, I don't play (and neither does anyone else, apparently).

Yep. Nice to be able to carry your progress from place to place, as well. One thing that amazes me as well, is the number of people who play this game that haven't a clue what the story is about, or who the characters are. Anyone else notice that?

Straagies? It's a slot machine. Each spin has an equal chance of being a -0- or a -I-. As far as the bonuses, I find that the best chance of a payout comes with Farmer Maggot, The Prancing Pony, and Arwen's Rescue. I haven't had much luck with Gandalf's Fireworks or Isulder's Sword, and haven't played the Balrog yet.

If you look at Corpse Candle on the Players Life website it says you need to win 40x your bet in the Dead Marshes bonus to earn this trophy. However, when you go to the machine at the casino, it says you need 100x your bet to win it.

I just do NOT understand what is going on.

I still have not heard anyone say that they've achieved this milestone.

Re: The Garden Heist I will be in Atlantic City during the Thanksgiving holidays. I need 1 more trophy to finish the Garden Heist bonus.

Question: Has anyone witness or experience getting 27 grids of vegetables in all 9 rounds of that bonus? If so, please share your experience in this bonus. I'm really curious to know. It would be nice if I can get the "Mushroom trophy" of the Garden Heist on Thanksgiving day. That would be a nice thanksgiving treat.

If you go to the casino on Thanksgiving, or Friday, and sign on to one of the online slots, there is a special trophy which will be given to you, which will show up in your trophy list. Check out the announcement at your trophy page: click on the trophy with the turkey, and it will tell you how to get it.

I signed in and even earned a mile today, but no trophy yet.
