YAY! I also got surprised and got the last trophy in the March of the Ents. Just came out of the blue. Seems there is some randomness to that particular game. However, just cannot see how it would ever be possible to get the last trophy in Dead Marshes. When playing minimum bet, you have to come up with 100X that bet. If you look at the screen after playing and add up all the boxes, none of those would total to 100X the minimum bet even if you got them all plus the bonus at the top. /site_media/images/emoticons/frown

I have a question. In the Dead Marshes are the pathways ever changing or are they fixed?

I have played this several times at the Horseshoe in Indiana and I am not impressed at all. It seems it rarely gives bonuses and when you do get one(usually using a powerspin) it doesn't return near what it has taken to get the bonus. I really enjoyed the first version but not sold on this one! Maybe I need to venture out of Indiana to have any such luck?

Grdn24fans, My two cents on the LOTR games..My experience with both has been the same; they run hot or cold.. The other day I was getting bonuses, miles, power spins, etc. Yesterday evening I got 1 power spin (the wild trees) at 5X and got I think 5dollars. I have had meaty wins on the Fell Beast and the other random feature (can't think of its name right now). My one observation to the second LOTR is that I cannot get a good win on any of the bonuses. I tend to go back to Gandalf's Fireworks every time I get a bonus as that has seemed to pay the best for me. Oh, and one last thing on a very pathetic note.. I played Buffalo Spirit and hate to admit it but i was chasing the progressive. I noticed the minor was at 46.00 and would hit by 50.00. It took me over 60 dollars to hit the minor at 48.00 and the worst of the worst happened before that.. A bonus with 0!!!! It was embarrassing. That shouldnot be allowed. There should at least be some kind of consolation credits.

commanderbunbun: The ziltch bonus is the worst slot experience. When I get one, I'm hesitant to play that game again. We expect to invest time and money to get to the bonus, but to get $0 after x spins, not right. I still haven't played Hearts of Venice since I zilch bonused (on Valentine's Day no less.) I feel getting a bonus is the goal of slot playing, not just an event along the way of a session. I think Goldfish2 gives you a consolation award equal to the bet if you don't win something. The penguins also usually give you at least a credit win if you get ziltch. I think Hot Shot Progressives changed their pay tables to award for blank spins in their bonuses after so many complained.

I hate being member of the "zero bonus club" but i am; sorry to hear you are too Daddywowwow. On to a happier note.. Tonight played the new Batman slot at my #1 go to casino. Min bet was 50 cents up to 2.50 max. I played between 1 dollar and 1.50. The game is very well put together and I got several bonus rounds and with a $20 bill to start, worked it up to over $50. Normally, I would cash out at that point but really wanted to experience the different bonuses so kept playing and cashed out with my original $20. One bonus I did was very similar to the Change of a Dress bonus on SATC. Another bonus had me (the joker) racing Batman (I won that challenge.. have no idea how!). There was the road rage bonus which was pretty low paying and I also did some sort of Chaos bonus which involved picking masks.. did well on that. The game is very very high tech looking and I love when a game entertains and gives you at least your money back. I don't mind losing every now and then, but I do detest machines that seem to be money grubbers.. little action and pitiful bonus rounds.

Hi bunbun:

Does this seem like the type of game that will get your repeat play? It worked out great that you got some play on it without losing your twenty. The bet is reasonable considering the money that must have gone into it. Contrary to what people might tell you -- that Center Stage screen delivers the best game. The more compact version is just not as impressive. That said, I had no desire to play Batman again!

Batman is up and running at my local go-to. I haven't played it yet because I can play Ghostbusters instead. As I posted elsewhere, I witnessed a guy drop over $350 on Batman cursing all the way. It looks like a hit-and-run type game. I'll try it, but I don't expect much.

Shamus, Yes, the Batman game will have me playing it again because from what I've seen so far is the bonus is not impossible to get;the graphics are great, and I can most likely put in a 20 or 100 and leave the machine with that having had an enjoyable experience. I honestly truly can say the same about LOTR. Yes, sometimes that game will be very very cold, but it can post big wins and the bonuses come more often than not for me. I'm sorry, I cannot say the same about Battlestations or the new Journey to Oz. I have sunk tons of money into both with nothing to show for it. My gambling objective is to have fun and to be given a fair shot of winning with my bet size being a bit of a factor as well. In other words, if I sit down to a $5 reel slot and I occasionally do that, even if playing one coin, I have a reasonable chance of hitting for 20 coins and after having put in 100 dollars, I'm even or hopefuly slightly ahead. This has been my experience with reel slots esp. as they go higher in denomination. With the penny games, I have seen and had huge wins on everything from minimum to maximum bet. With the Journey to Oz game, I several times played at 2.50 and even 5.00 and either got no bonus or a paltry 10.00 back. Therefore, those type of games won't see my action again. I try to give a game 2, 3, or even 4 tries. Then its over. The newer penny games mostly seem to have the money in the bonus rounds so if you're grinding away at a machine for what seems like an eternity (and is!) only to either NEVER have the bonus or get something really measly, then that machine will not see my play again.
