Today, Tuesday, August 9, 2011, the Lord of the Rings: Two Towers machine replaced the original 4-LOTR machines at the Gold Coast Casino in Las Vegas. The new machines went online at about 11:00 AM Pacific Time. I was the first one to play. Sadly, it was a forgetable experience for me, but everything worked fine.

Just happened to notice that Denver duck is your all time favorite slot. I had played that at the old Southcoast now southpoint, and then also at Palace Station several years back. Has anyone seen this game recently in the Las Vegas area? It was really way ahead of its time and I agree is one of the best games ever.

Just got back from Parx Casino in Pa. and was just wondering in LOTR Legola's arrows, what is the most arrows anyone ever received at one time? I was given 12 arrows (out of 15 spots) and also received a wild symbol on the same spin. When all was said and done, I won 26000 credits on an 80 cent bet. Did anyone ever cover all the spots?

Hi holidee:

Sounds like you are having a fun time with your hobby! The Seminole casinios have a deal with WMS which makes it sound like they will be getting a nice pipeline of WMS over the upcoming years. Very nice! I'm jealous.

As far as SEX AND THE CITY ... it has been a very successful slot for IGT. I have to admit ... it is one of those themes that does not appeal to me. However, more than that, it's a relatively high bet for a low roller like me.

Sounds like you are making good progress on the mini-games!

Hi unclechucko:

Thanks for the update ... sorry your first play wasn't more profitable for you.

Hi commanderbunbun:

Denver Duck looked like an "expensive" game to make ... due to the 3D graphics. I can not recall the 3D graphics being used again ... so it makes me wonder whether it was a success overall for IGT. The issue here was that the game was mostly released as a 25-cent game, which was quite pricey. I think the MAX LINES was 15.

Hi johnny2pop:

The most I've had is about 12 symbols WILD. Paid a couple hundred. Love the arrows!

Hi johnny2pop:

If you want to make absolutely sure you can beleive your eyes ... you should be able to confirm it on FACEBOOK! That's a great resource! WMS does a really nice job answering questions about machine locations!

Just got back from Vegas and I have to say I was very dissapointed with TT. It wasn't that I lost it just seemed like it took me a very long time to hit a bonus. It seemed like they were giving me more ring power spins but 85% of the time they didn't work. I did get to play all the new bonus levels and have to say I think the Last of the March Ents was my favorite. I'll still keep playing it regardless but was a little discouraged. I did do very well on Ruby Slippers the last night where on an 80 cent bet I won 264 on a bubble bonus and the the next spin I won another 240 on another bubble bonus. I think Ruby Slippers has now become my favorite game. I hope the TT ends up local so I can try it again.
