Hi g4b:

re: All of these new Two Towers machines are pre-set to begin the player at mile 75.

Interesting ... so ... a player with less than 75 miles will presumably be set to 75 miles when they play.

I guess this explains why so many people on the LOTR TT machines had similar mileage in Las Vegas last month. I knew that was strange or weird.

WooHoo! My DH and I made the 2 hour drive to Brighton Seminole Casino yesterday and they finally have the LOTRs Two Towers online. It was the first time I had a chance to play The Balrog since I made it to 75 miles. The Balrog was a blast. I was playing $1.20 and my bonus was $65.50 and I got another mile and trophy. The rest of the time there was ho hum except for a $150.00 win on Sex in the City.

Hi holidee:

Glad to hear about your luck on Two Towers! I haven't gotten into SEX AND THE CITY ... but I don't personally think THE SHAMUS is part of the target demographic for that game! /site_media/images/emoticons/smile The Seminole casinos seem nice.

Two of the Two Towers machines at Ho-Chunk are shut down, which is not a good sign. Played one today, got power spins, and one bonus resulting in 1.20. /site_media/images/emoticons/frown

Hi Shamus, The Brighton Seminole Casino only has 300 machines so you have to like what they offer since it is out in the country. You should try SITC, I don't think I am in the demographic group either except that I am a woman. I have sat next to plenty of men playing on SITC. It has some great bonuses. The lady next to me won $682 and she didn't even know what the game was all about. She kept asking me what to do next - LOL, guess I gave her good instructions.

Oh, I am going to Aria in September as I have that great offer of $450 in Freeplay, a suite and $150 a day for food. How can we resist a free trip? Does anyone have any good suggestions on what to play there? I have only played there a few times and not too successfully.

OK...first post. been playing LOTR since January. FINALLY got the chance to play TT all this past week at Red Rock in Vegas. Played about 6 to 8 hours, and I found it just as "even" as LOTR. Basically, same amount of power spins, wins, etc. I had more of the random flying creature (his name is escaping me), than Legolas...about 15 to 10. Most I won on either was 30-something (I usually bet .80cents). Bonuses, I usually play Balrog and Fireworks, and hit $130 on Balrog once, and $75 on Fireworks (on a .40cent bet)...I did play all the new ones (hit NUMEROUS "pick your bonus" features), although I have enough miles to play them all (except the last one). Of the new ones, March of the Ents paid nothing (played twice), Gollum vs. Smeagel (paid 3 times, won about $30 once, and nothing the others), Marshes (played once, made it to the top, won only $6), and the final one (climbing the ladders) twice, and did really bad each time. Thus, kept playing my Balrog and Fireworks.

Anyway, Red Rock's TT machines were pretty much empty every time I was there (I always played before noon). A really nice lady sat down next to me once, and her first power spin was the Wild Trees...and on an .80 cent bet, won $100...with the first four rows wild. She hit the "cash out" button and ran away happy. I was jealous of course, since that is my favorite power spin. During my ring power spins, only was about 50/50 in getting the actual ring for the bonus (as usual).

In the end, I did truly enjoy playing TT...even more than the original. Sure, it takes awhile to get used to the new graphics (they are cartoon-y), but you adjust. Red Rock casino is AMAZING...so if you're in Vegas, its worth the trip out West. Stop by the actual Red Rock Canyon while you're out that way, as its only about 7 minutes from the casino itself.

How much did I lose? I believe about $300 on the TT machines, but it lasted quite a while...and I enjoyed every minute.

BTW, back in February, I won $2500 over three days playing LOTR...been addicted ever since! Fun fun game...and I'll choose TT every time at this point, over the original.

Hi holidee:

One of my knocks on Sex and the City is the denomination is usually 1-cent ... meaning the payback is likely low, so the bet to cover all of the reels is $2. The top amount available (progressive) is, at best, only a 250x win. In my mind, a minimum bet of $2 should command some higher incentives ... however, this game has obviously been success for IGT ... so prepare yourself for math clones from everyone!

Hey ... Aria sounds like a good time ... that is one casino I still have on my list to visit. Sounds like a very modern floor. Let us know how it goes!

Hi lucychi:

Thanks so much for your great Two Towers writeup. I'm a huge RED ROCK fan as well ... they certainly carry plenty of WMS games ... which, of course, are my favorites! At the same time, the place is massive, and not particularly busy during the weekdays. Loved it ... it was my favorite place to play last visit!
