Hi oceana11:
Did you write this in Klingon invisible ink?

Oh no, I just found that this community gaming will be at the following payback schedule:
Star Trek- Battle Stations 86%-90%progressive, 86%-96% non-progressive
Why can't they make a higher payback machine and forget the progressive whcih will always water down the payback? It tough enough to play your bank roll longer these days and the uncetainty of possibly playing a non-progressive at the same payback as a progressive is disheartening. Eitherway, I will still give it a shot once I find the game.

Hi Slotspert:
The manufacturers make games that will be popular with players ... but the customer is really the casino -- and the casinos will likely want this range available.
My personal preference ... no progressive ... however, there are some players who look for that BIG progressive.

My main point is this one of the few games I have seen that has a progressive and a non-progressive payback table available at 86% (yuk). I don't mind playing a progressive but I don't like the availability of non-progressive that we, of course, would not know about, mingled with the progressives at the same minimum payback. Like, I said, its tough enough to make your bank roll last these days and the 86% machines (e.g. max bet on WOZ) make it even harder.
Checked the game finder and got really excited because it showed this game all over Michigan. The excitement did not last long as I figured it could not be correct. can't wait to try this game. Susan

Hi sredd45:
You are correct ... this is the default you get -- which basically outlines all of the closest casinos. I actually found a casino I was unaware of from my local map. ![]()

The original Star Trek paid me a jackpot of over $7000 on a moderate bet (got a screen of Kirks, then got the dancing green lady win warp). Of course, I think those machines probably extracted more than that over the months that I played...
I look forward to trying this new one. I hope to find it at Foxwoods soon, or at Harrahs in AC. Harrahs used to have a deal with WMS for Star Trek, I wonder if they do this time around. (Part of the deal was that the Total Rewards player cards could be used to sign in to the game.)
Live long and prosper, let's hope!

I disagree with you. I feel that the Casino is the middle person and not the customer.
