So are there any tentative dates out there for "The Two Towers" yet? I know that the first machine was just released, but I have to imagine that with this great success, they have to be considering getting the next one out ASAP.

It's going to be in the first half of this year. Until something more concrete is announced, I am going with that. We do know some details -- eg. there are 4 new bonus rounds.

There's usually a waiting "line" for these machines at our nearest casino...

Now that I'm past Moria, and can't play games here to earn miles, I'm having a hard time moving forward on the map. I've had two long (4+ hours on the machine each day) sessions of the LOTR in the past month, and only earned 17 miles for my trouble. 13 more miles to Galadriel's Staircase, and I'll be annoyed if I don't make it there on my next trip to the casino.

So when they come out with the 2nd game... do new players automatically get to play the 4 new bonuses or will the game still start from the beginning and the two towers is more of an expansion for those that have the high mileage?

I played last week for 8 or more hours and betting $1.20 to max and only moved 12 miles. The first few hours I didn't even move a mile. Bonuses as I get closer to the end seem further apart. I tried at 3 different casinos thinking it maybe the slot machines.

Hope my next trip in a month I have a better run with the LOTR.

I will post a few photos later of the bonuses I did win.
