Richman17,
Thanks for the post but I called Choctaw today and spoke with a slot tech on the floor. She told me the one by the buffet is the Original WOZ, not the new Ruby Slippers. She advised me they only have the original WOZ and two Transmissive reels; Wicked Riches and Glenda the Good Witch. What I'm looking for is a brand new version of WOZ that just got released about 4-6 months ago. You can view the website to see what it looks like: http://www.wmsnewsletter.com/RubySlippers/
Thanks

Thats an interesting answer from the slot tech. I am sure I played the Ruby Slipper machine. Guess I should have taken a picture. I know the original WOZ is still there, the machine I played was directly behind the original. I remember because I had a very nice 'Find the Broom' bonus. One of the main differences from the original is the Respin, when you get at least two of the bonus symbols.
This is a fun machine. Last summer @ Luxor Las Vegas, a very lucky lady next to me won $2000 on her .40 cent bet. The good witch made all 5 reels wild, and the ruby slippers gave her a 5x.
I certainly hope that you can find it somewhere. My last visit was on Jan. 13, 2011. Maybe possible they have removed it since then? Good luck when you do get to play it.
Thanks Richman! My wife and I are actually gonna see for ourselves today or Tuesday. There are alot of machines for them to recall and maybe the tech got it wrong. As you said, if it was behind the original WOZ, she may not have known that. Hearing you describe the broom bonus leads me to believe that you know what I'm looking for and you know what you are talking about.
We are going to Winstar today (comp room at the main hotel) and will try to cut across to Choctaw if we get bored either tonight or tomorrow. I'll report back later! Thanks for the tip, and hopefully it's not gone.
Hi Folks:
Not to knock slot techs ... but I've met my fair share of uninformed techs -- especially when it comes to the knowledge of their own slot floor. I've also heard a lot of false information. I once asked a tech how many TITOS there were before they have to be replaced -- and they said that was secret information. Yeah, it's right up there with the "Caramilk Secret"!!

Someone hit the $4MM plus progressive on the penny machines at the Borgata last night. It was great to see.
Well, haven't made it to Choctaw yet to see if they have it with my own eyes. We didn't make it last week but have reservations for a comp room in the new tower in two weeks. I did however call AGAIN and speak with a tech who called someone on the floor and had them walk over to the WOZs by the buffet. The guy said as he was looking right at the bank of machines, that it was the original WOZs, not the new Ruby Slippers..so Im very confused.. Richman, are you sure it was Choctaw in Durant and not maybe one of the other Choctaws? I don't know, I guess I will just wait and see in two weeks for myself ![]()
Here are some nice RUBY SLIPPERS hits from You Tube's ACINLVNV:

I have a love/hate relationship with this game. Of all the times I've played it (at least 15), I've only had one time where I got bonuses on a regular basis or decent "ruby slippers" random wilds. The other times, this game was a money-sucker. But the one time it was working well, I won over $300 on 80 cent betting in about an hour. Too bad that's not more regular! hehe

Hi leeann1003:
The volatility of this game seems to be a favorite with serious slot players. The game packs a punch ... and it is always much better to be on the winning side. I've seen enough impressive wins to know that this machine can pay ... so, I bet this one as conservatively as possible.

hey shamus , i think you are right about betting conservatively on this game, you can play for hours and not hit a decent hand , but this sunday i did manage to get all 5 wilds on the ruby slipper bonus, but no multiplier, too bad i dont have a good phone to take a picture.
