Awesome hit chienboffet; I am a horrible picker and it seems to be a rarity that I go beyond maybe 3 or 4 picks total before I hit the dreaded witch with or without a Dorothy symbol. Merry christmas to you and yours too!
Thank you commander!! I too, am a horrible picker and always get the witch. I actually had no idea that you could complete the bonus WITHOUT picking the witch, hahah! Merry Christmas to you as well!
I have made it to the end of this bonus too...like any other bonus, it is preprogrammed ahead as to how much you will earn, or how far you are going to go. Just like the 10X Glinda popping up...they are are few and far between.![]()
Wow those wins were great! Here in Indiana we don't see much of that! At French Lick you will be lucky to get 2 wilds let alone 4!! We are heading to Mississippi in April and I am hoping their machines are better than ours, at least will pay enough to let us play awhile!!

Hi grdn24fans:
Thanks for posting! Beleive it or not -- the version you play is likely not much different from these ones. The video makes it look easy -- but think of the thousands of spins we don't see in between! Ruby Slippers is legendary for large hits!

Hi car1950:
Just to clarify your statement ... the spins and multipliers are totally random. In theory, they could happen back-to-back ... however, it is a very difficult "hit" - therefore, not a very likely occurrence!
Also, it is worth mentioning ... if there is a "player pick" element ... that is totally up to the player ... it is not pre-determined.

I saw 4 bubbles show up for the first time ever last week. Of course the 4th one doesn't pop. Had 1 3 and 5 reels wild. Then I get c%^kblocked by 2 progressive symbols and only the lower paying symbols on the rest of the spots. Plus no multiplier!!
bah
Shamus" To clarify: After the broomstick bonus is triggered by the "appropriate random number", the player can control how much he wins by the order in which he picks the icons on the bonus screen?, or is his total win determined at the moment the bonus is hit? The mechanics of the RNG during regular play, and bonus play are the same?
Random or not, it seems the outcome of the bonus is already set at the time of the bonus trigger and no matter what bonus icons the player picks, he can not increase or decrease or influence his win. IMO
I liked playing this game every so often. (I switched between it and the original WOZ) But Harrahs here in Kansas City has taken it out now.

It may be your opinion, but it's not fact. Bonuses are NOT predetermined. We have had slot experts on various forms confirm as such. The only thing that is predetermined in a "pick" bonus is what it available to be picked. While you are sitting there wondering "which one should I pick", the slot is shifting and shuffling the amounts underneath until you make your selection, and continues to do so until you hit the unlucky one.
I have always wondered about your specific perception, however. What exactly leads you to believe that the amount you win in a bonus is predetermined? If the answer is "because I lose more than I win", then you're right, but for a completely different reason. 8-)

Is this really true? Are you saying that, each available pick is constantly changing like its own mini-slot machine, waiting for the player to pick at just the right time? And when the bonus is over and unpicked items are revealed, they are revealed in the position they were last in, which may be different from the start of the bonus? That seems misleading and unfair to me.
