The first "Racino" in Ohio has opened at Scioto Downs in Columbus, OH. They have about 1700 brand new video slots MANY of them from WMS. Many of the latest and greatest. Have been twice and have left a winner both times and only spent about 2 hours there in each instance. Thought the participants on this board would like to know

Hi MIKE:

Can you drop some of the name of the latest games?

Monopoly (3 or 4 of the latest versions), Princess Bride, Top Star, Most of the Super Multiplay titles, Both Alice games, Most of the G+ Deluxe titles, Van Helsing, Little Red Riding hood and and couple of other titles in that format, Goldfish2

And several others.

Finally made it to the new Racino in Columbus. Many, many great machines, the casino was big, clean, nice employees, smoke free and has a great bar. WMS Gaming was definitely the slot vendor of choice there and well represented. Some friends of mine went on opening week and most came out winners. I wish I could say the same was true for our visit on Wednesday. We all lost our money so quickly we ended up coming home way before we had planned. Those machines ate $120 of mine in about 3 hours and I even had to go to the car and work for about a half an hour of that time. Not good, especially when only playing penny slots.....

The machine selection was absolutely fabulous though and I enjoyed playing games I have seen on this website but never got the chance to try. We had a blast on Wizard of Oz Bigger Event and actually played on that one the longest, they had Wizard of Oz Ruby Slippers, Monopoly Big Event, Monopoly Party Train (my favorite although it sucked $40 in about 20 minutes), Tarzan, Alice and the Mad Tea Party (ate money as fast as you could put it in with not one bonus), the Monkees, Survivor, Jackpot Block Party, Gold Fish, Gold Fish Race for the Gold and so, so many others. The ones that seemed to be hitting the best were The Hangover but you could never get on them as the same 2 ladies were there the entire time so they obviously knew something we didn't.

There was a big article in today's paper that said they have taken in $4.1 million in the first 9 days so I guess you can say I made my contribution. Will I go again? Absolutely but at the rate my money goes there it will not be very often and only for a short time. We had planned on spending the day but ended up going out to lunch and hitting the Antique Mall down the road which cost way less than the slots!
