Wow. I would have been steaming! I've never hit the 12x, or the 9x. And I've played it many times. Sorry you had to endure that bonus. Finally get the dream hit, only to have your dream torn apart. Hang in there.

Hi DW -- thanks for the post - I really appreciate the fact that someone who plays & understands this slot sympathises with me. Like you said "Hang in there" -- that's about all I can do at this point. But I'm not giving up (yet) -- I just booked a "freebie" overnight in Atlantic City for next week, and I'll keep chasing the big one -- if not Silver Sword, I'll switch to it's mathematical equivalent GEMS GEMS GEMS.

It's too bad that EVERY WMS game doesn't add additional 'WILDS' during bonus rounds (that's why I like INVADERS FROM PLANET MOOLAH) - at least you have a good chance of a decent hit when they drop down & repeat more often than not.

PS: other 'favorites' are BLACK KNIGHT & GUSHER -- it's a great feeling when those WILDS expand & are held for the duration of the bonus !!

I've been chasing those 12x on GEMS and Silver Sword for a long time. I hit it one of these days!! I really like the G+ games WMS has out now. All of them!! The Money Burst games are also among my favorites. And the spinning streak, and the wrap arounds, and the Monopoly, and the WOZ, and LOTR, and..... Basically, any WMS games are my favorites. Not that I don't play others, but WMS consistantly puts out the best, IMO. Just wish I got to play more often. Best of luck to you next time out.

Well ... the BONUS ROUND is not the easiest to get. There is a 25% chance of getting the 12x. It sounds like a decent chance --- but it wouldn't be uncommon to go 10 bonus rounds without the 12x (luck being what it is). When you happen to get the 12x ... THEN you need to land a decent score. You can see how it just has to work out.

I managed to get a 9x bonus on Gems Gems Gems about a month or two ago. That seems even more difficult to get than a 12x. I still play these games regularly. I saw someone hit a 12x bonus on Gems this past weekend, betting 600 credits, and ended up winning over $600 in the bonus. (I also someone win $5 betting $4 in a bonus - so definitely variable!)
