Played the Super Team at Foxwoods last week. Did not cash in on the game, however it was fun. One thing that I noticed was that not too many people understood what the sign in was all about. I can't tell you how many people I told about Player Life site and the advantages of getting a sign on. One other observation was that many people were confused as to how the game worked. Most did not know the difference between the two team choices and some comments were that "it is too confusing to play". Of course this is natural because people are too lazy to read the game rules which violates the first rule of playing the slots, "Understand the game and machine". I liked the game and will play it again when I go to Foxwoods in October...

i agree with the players. WMS puts too much into a game sometimes, that can be overwhelming to a player. A slot should be easily understood WITHOUT reading a paytable. The paytable is the legal jargon....

That's really interesting. I'm the opposite, I guess, because I always look at the paytable after the first few spins for a game I haven't played before. Otherwise, I have no idea what's wild, what the paylines are, etc. I find it way easier than trying to guess what is supposed to be going on.

Something about the sign-in on SUPER TEAM and Clue is that it's too small. I think that puts people off right away. Regulars like us have to lean forward and peer closely to make sure we are hitting the correct 'keys'. Not to bad on the username, but the password is sometimes a crap chute.

I completely agree! I tend to accidentally hit the wrong letter and get frustrated. However, I have been lucky at Harrah's Resort because it recognizes me when I insert my player's card and automatically signs me in to Super Team (and sometimes on Clue)!

Hi Zeusette:

You probably read the instructions that come with your BLUE RAY player, too! When I am figuring out the rules of the game, I call it reverse engineering. Haha.

Now a days if you don't check the paytable first, you might find your on a buy-a-pay and not be covered on all bets. SUPER TEAMS' paytable and info are a little involved, but if you don't need to read about every bonus possibility, you can get to spinning pretty quickly. With WMS you can be pretty sure it will explain itself out during play. A few other manufacturers, not as likely.

Blue Ray player? I'm stilling using my VHS player - why upgrade? Ha ha. Just kidding.

Actually, I usually check it so I know what the lines are. I don't have your encyclopaedic knowledge of slots, Shamus, and can't remember what manufacturer uses what lines.

I have to agree with btvend, though. That you shouldn't have to check the pay table just to know what's going on with the games. Hope to play Super Team when I go to Vegas in a couple months.

I just let people do their own thing. I mean, I definitely roll my eyes at people who don't know the right way to play a game, but if they want to "just play it" then so be it. Different strokes for different folks!

I told my mom about Player's Life (before I registered her on here a few days ago), and she was just "blah blah blah"ing me saying its stupid and there's no reason for trophies and sleuth points and hero points. Thennnn I showed her unlockable bonus games. Now she's into it!!
