Hi Folks:

I haven't been to Detroit for 4 months. I went there ... expecting, as usual, to find lots of new games. Well ... not what I was expecting. There was much less than I was used to. MGM Grand Detroit had very little new at all. Motor City had the most new stuff ... and Greeketown had a bit.

IGT was the big story for me ... there was very little new IGT ... only Joker's Heist and Ghostbusters (both are new to me). Other than that -- there was IGT/High 5 Vanishing Act ... and DaVinci Diamonds 2 had more machines installed. So ... who knows what is up there.

WMS had new stuff spread around. I'll have it up soon!!

Bally had a fair amount, Aristocrat had a few things ... and Konami does not have the foothold into Detroit that they do in other areas.

All in all ... a very enjoyable trip!!

Plenty! This was just a warm up. I had a great first 24-hours. Things turned on me Saturday night. Sunday morning was so-so ... and a nice recovery before I left. Some very nice video to share.

I have to admit ... I was not personally a fan of the original. Anyone play JOKER'S HEIST? It's an amazing games ... great graphics, sound, amazing effects. I would bet the Star Wars/Dark Knight guys worked on this. Unfortunately, in my hour of play, the game bonused quite a bit -- and not one bonus rated high enough to break 20x to 30x level. Anyone else have a similar experience ... or was I just extremely unlucky?

I've played it at my local go-to and I had the same experience. Several bonuses but none large enough to feel like I was a winner.

However ... the same celebrates low multiples up ... like you have really won something. To a casual player ... it's probably exciting. To a regular like me ... it's a bit frustrating.

Yes, Jokers Heist is ok, but like all of IGT's new stuff, its worthless.
