I had a lot of fun on this game in Las Vegas. Almost all of the major casinos had this game in place almost overnight. I think the WIZARD OF OZ players will really enjoy this one ... and the fact it is the first game from WMS to feature 1024-ways pays will appeal to fans who are used to the Aristocrat Power Pays.
The Community Gaming element in these games in strong!

I'm hoping my local go-to switches out the current Oz community game for this. Same on Monopoly. If they do both, I may never have to go to Reno again...

Hi daddywowwow:
The "Great and Powerful Oz" is a three reel game. Normally, another 3-reel game would replace it. Journey to Oz is a video slot ... so it often replaces something like BIGGER EVENT Monopoly. From what I have seen ... "The Great and Powerful Oz" is still getting a fair amount of play at some venues.

Hi PepsiRacer24:
Did you end up finding this game? How did Tahoe treat you?

The game is up at my local go-to so I gave it a try. The minimum bet of 50-cents is just a little high for a community game. I played for about 10 minutes and lost $15. During that time the mini-spinner spun about 8 times. Three times Glenda came up and we went to the above spinner. Two of those spins came up with small ($2+) wins and once the Tin Man bonus. We took turns picking parts of the Tin Man to polish. My first pick I got the Oil Can which gave me a few extra picks. After playing all our picks, we earned about $3. We didn't find the heart symbol, which is the goal of this bonus. I don't know what would have happened, but I'm sure our payoff would have been a lot better.
The remaining spins on the mini-spinner came up as small wins (5-cents to 50-cents). I'll give it another try.
The Journey to Oz is not for me; I love the graphics of the game but the payouts have been dismal for me. The Great and Powerful Oz however was fantastic and I managed several really big wins.
Motorcity in Detroit just got this machine but there are only 4 slot machines. I did great at it and played for a long time. Greektown also has it but the bonus never goes off and I always end up losing my $$$.
The best part was we got the Wicked Witch (double your event) then we got Dorothy and found all four Glindas! All four of us ended up with plenty of $$$.
