My DH brought up an interesting question related to jackpots/handpays/winners of such. When you go to your favorite "go to casino"'s WEB PAGE, search for the winners/pictures of handpays/or jackpots...what company of slots, WMS, Aristocrat, Konami or other has the most winners as shown by those pictures. We have a good old fashioned bet riding on the answers... a dinner out of winners choice is riding on your answers.
(disregard Keno or card/poker type)
Hmmmm... Interesting bet. My "go to" and "used to go to" casino websites don't have winner sections. If I was a betting man
, I think that IGT must be near the top since so many wins come from the zillions of their Wheel of Fortune games. (I am thinking purely about the frequency of wins, not necessarily the dollar amount of wins.)
I am now also wondering which manufacturers have had the highest paying progressive wins? You can read about a few multi-million dollar payouts almost monthly it seems. That answer would involve a free dessert, right?

Hi car1950:
Typically, the jackpots on these winners pages are predominently from higher denomination slots (usually reels) or progressive machines. These are typically BALLY and IGT machines. I usually see a fair share of WMS, Aristocrat and Konami machines as well.
A lot of these PAGES or WALLS are quietly disappearing -- since players have been shifting to the lower denom non-progressives over the past few years.
Don't forget ... progressive machines may have BIG PAYOUTS ... but they also pay out less money to players in other areas. Mathematically, it has to balance out.

By watching the various machines, over time one can see at what amount they usually pay out at. At Hard Rock Biloxi, there is a DD 5line .50 that hits over $3200 and a 3X 777 5line .50 that hits over $30K.
